Pentylene Glycol ist ein zweiwertiger Alkohol biologischen Ursprungs. Auch in hohen Dosen wirkt dieser Stoff feuchtigkeitsspendend, nicht wie herkömmliche Alkohole austrocknend. Darüber hinaus hat er eine antimikrobielle Wirkung, bekämpft also Bakterien und Pilze, um das Produkt rein zu halten. Pentylene Glycol ist in den Hyaluron Ampullen enthalten.
