How to find the right hyaluronic acid for your needs?
When choosing your serum, watch out for the concentration of the ingredient “sodium hyaluronate” (this salt combined with water results in hyaluronic acid). The ingredient list (INCI) helps you understand how much of it you can expect: the farther up the ingredient, the more of it the product contains.
Also think about the effects, you would like to achieve: high molecular hyaluronic acid instantly plumps skin, low molecular hyaluronic acid needs several weeks to show effects, but will bring longer lasting results (we use this kind of hyaluronic acid in our Pure Hyaluronic Intense Serum).

Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide, a chain of sugar molecules, that can bind water. Hyaluronic acid occurs in the human body – in the skin, the joint fluid or the vitreous body of the eye. We distinguish low molecular and high molecular hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid plays a crucial role in a smoothly functioning musculoskeletal system. The small molecules are also present in our skin, where they support collagens and elastin fibres and keep skin plump and firm. From about the 25th year of our lives onwards, the body’s own production in hyaluronic acid decreases. The results are fine lines and wrinkles. Applying hyaluronic acid, the appearance of both can be diminished.
Hyaluronic acid can by synthesized from various materials. We use vegetable glucose, so it doesn’t contain any animal protein and therefore has almost no allergic potential.
