Description
Get to cleaner, clearer and hydrated skin, gently. Combined with water, the featherlight pad made of highly concentrated alginate from French brown algae, transforms into a velvety-soft gel that can be used for massages, as mask or mild peeling. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. Vegan-friendly.

Application
- Cleanse skin.
- Mix the pad with about 5ml of water and wait for it to transform into a soft gel.
- Evenly spread onto face, leave out hairline and eyebrows.
- Gently massage skin, let work for 10-15 minutes.
- Take off very thoroughly with a moist towel.
- Apply Hyaluronic Algae Serum.

Growing in the Celtic Sea off the shores of the Bretagne, brown algae are rich in algin, chlorophyll and beta-carotene, and are an important part of the ecosystem. Not only do they have detoxifying properties, they are also a rich source of nutrients and conditioning agents and therefore allow other organisms to thrive.
We have transformed the benefits of highly concentrated brown algae into a luxurious gel. Combined with water, the feather-light pad transforms into a velvety-soft gel that can be massaged into the skin, used as a very mild peeling or gentle mask. Yes. You can quickly massage in the Algae Gel and then use it as a gentle mask that you thoroughly rinse off after 10 minutes.

Alginic acid hence attracts dead skin cells and toxins and binds them to it, giving it detoxifying and skin clarifying properties. As a marine polysaccharide it can also bind water and therefore provide hydration.
Alginate or alginic acid is a natural polysaccharide, a chain of sugar molecules, that occur highly concentrated in the brown alga laminaria digitata. The brown alga comes from Bretagne, off the French Atlantic coast.
The pads in the sachets are each enclosed in vacuum chambers. If you should have opened both chambers and taken parts of one of the pads, you should use the remainder of the pad within 48 hours. Please remember that the pads need to be protected against humidity and sun exposure.
Yes, you can as it removes dead skin cells. Please do note, however, that it is not an enzymatic peeling, as it does not loosen the intercellular substance. You can nonetheless achieve a clarifying effect.
The brown algae in our Algae Gel are highly purified, which leaves the iodine content very low (at around 0.04% in the dry mass). Even with a thyroid dysfunction, you should be able to use this product.
You can use the product on a daily basis. An ideal start is a detox-treatment over two weeks, but an application once per week can be sufficient, too.
You would usually need half a pad to a whole pad that you emulsify with approximately 2.5-5ml of water.
For the most beautiful texture, you should give the pad 5 minutes in water. Alternatively, you can stir it with a silicone cosmetic brush, which you thoroughly clean afterward.
You can use fresh tap water. Also distilled water from a drug store can be an alternative. Make sure that the container in which you activate the Algae Gel is clean.
