A lotion or a fluid is usually an oil-in-water emulsion, so it has a lot of moisture and only a little bit of lipids. This means that a lotion is quickly absorbed by the skin and provides it with intensive hydration. A lotion works very well on oily skin.

In general, natural oils and lipids integrate far better into the skin's balance: as an emulsion they resemble human sebum and are therefore very well compatible with the skin and gentle to nature and the environment. They further properly absorb into the upper layers of the skin and condition dry skin especially well.
