Peeling

Plant-based peeling particles are an environmentally friendly alternative to microplastics. By hardening natural oils, e.g. castor oil, they form a particularly smooth surface. Thanks to their shape and surface, plant-based peeling particles remove impurities and dead skin cells without damaging the skin.

Oily or blemished skin is prone to inflamed spots, blackheads, and pimples on the skin. An enzymatic peeling is more suitable than a mechanical one, because mechanical peeling can "open" blackheads and spread bacteria on the face.

Sensitive skin often reacts to friction with redness. A gentle peeling should therefore be used on very sensitive skin. An enzyme peeling or cleaning that binds toxins and dead skin cells, which can then simply be rinsed off with water, is particularly compatible.

Mature skin is often thinner due to a decrease in collagen production. With lower levels of hyaluronic acid available in the body, it also often lacks moisture, which can make it look rough and sallow. A mechanical peeling is therefore a very good solution for mature skin, as it removes dead skin cells and thus helps the skin to achieve a smoother, more even surface and more radiance. Massaging with small "globules" also helps stimulate blood circulation, resulting in more oxygen and nutrients in the skin cells, often leading to an improved complexion.

While skin is constantly renewing itself, it is not advisable to exfoliate daily, especially with mechanical peelings. Excessive friction can lead to micro-lesions in the skin with daily use. We recommend using a peeling only once or twice a week with an interval of at least 3 days.

Peeling and mask should go hand in hand. The peeling creates the basis - skin, clean to the pores. A mask provides concentrated active ingredients that can better absorb into the skin after a peeling.

Exfoliating skin with the help of a peeling has many advantages: it frees skin from impurities and helps stimulate the blood circulation, improving radiance. However, not every type of peeling is suitable for all skin types. Mechanical peels are especially good for dry, normal, or combination skin. Enzymatic peelings are also suitable for sensitive skin. Fruit acid peelings (AHA peelings) are tailored to blemished skin and anti-aging.

In general, you would use a peeling to thoroughly cleanse your skin. Depending on the type of peeling you use, it can also help stimulate blood circulation, e.g. through gentle massage. If a high-quality serum is part of your daily anti-aging skin care routine, an exfoliation using a peeling is advisable to improve the penetration of active ingredients.

As a principle, we renounce on mineral oils and silicones and instead use organic-grade cold pressed oils and natural lipds. This alternative is far more exepnsive, but allows us to create products with luxurious textures that contain precious nutrients that absorb into skin. In general, natural oils and lipids integrate far better into the skin's balance: as an emulsion they resemble human sebum and are therefore very well compatible with the skin and gentle to nature and the environment. They further properly absorb into the upper layers of the skin and condition dry skin especially well.
